Synopsis[]
Fionna and Cake are sent to an alternate universe and they happen to bump into their gender bents Finn and Jake. Quite a problem huh? Things get worse when the Ice King and Ice Queen team up and kidnap Princess Bubblegum and Prince Gumball so that they can marry them. Now Finn, Jake, Fionna, and Cake must team up to stop the Ice King and Queen and save Prince Gumball and Princess Bubblegum with the aid of Marceline and Marshal Lee.
The sequal to this is: Fionna and Cake Return.
Plot[]
Finn and Jake come back from a battle at the crystal dimension that they happen to be bragging about. Then they happen to spot two girls (Fionna and Cake) fighting a monster. They want to help these two but before they do they jump into action. Cake punches the monster while Fionna finished it off with a slash of her sword. Finn and Jake were very impressed to have seen two other adventurers in Ooo. They both ran up to Fionna and Cake and told them how "math" they were. Fionna was embarrassed that two boys saw her fight with Cake. She thanked them for their comments and asks who they were. Finn introduced himself and Jake to her and Cake then he notices something familiar about Fionna. He noticed how similar to himself and flipped out then asked her "what's going on!?" Fionna said she had noticed that too and tell Finn and Jake that her and Cake are from an alternate universe. Finn is shock about the fact and Jake suggests that they should go ask Princess Bubblegum so she can help Fionna and Cake back to their dimension. Finn agrees with Jake then Finn tells Fionna and Cake to come with them to the Candy Kingdom and Fionna notices Finn holding her hand then blushes. The scene changes to the Ice Kingdom with Ice Queen walking to her "home". Ice Queen walks in and Gunter happens to notices her walk in and starts quacking to warn Ice King that there is an intruder in the Ice Kingdom. Ice Queen turns and realizes Gunter then hears the Ice King yelling Gunter's name. Ice King walks in the room and sees Ice Queen he thinks she's a princess. She turns to Ice King and says she not a princess and that she the Ice QUEEN. Then he said "that a queen is much better then capturing princesses all the time". Ice Queen pauses and thinks evil of an idea and tells Ice King about a deal she would like to set a deal with him. The scene changes to the Candy Kingdom with Princess Bubblegum working on something. Then she hears Finn's voice yelling her name then turns to see Finn behind her from a distance. Finn tells her that there's a problem then she ask what it is. Then at the door, Fionna peek in at the room with Cake and Jake behind her. The princess asks who just appear by the door then Finn introduces Fionna and Cake to Princess Bubblegum and said they're from an alternate universe. Fionna explains a little more about herself and Cake's state and Princess Bubblegum agrees to help them. Princess Bubblegum shows all of them her new vortex machine she was working on before they showed up. She states that she's not finished with it and tells them to come back later. Then they all leave to go to the tree fort to wait for her to finish the vortex machine. Princess Bubblegum tries to connect the last part of the machine to get it to work properly and it is a huge success. When she was distracted someone behind came up and covered her mouth and kidnapped her. The scene changes to the Tree Fort, the gang is still walking. Lumpy Space Princess' voice came out of the blue as Finn and Jake turned to her and asked her what was happening. She told them that the Ice King and a queen were kidnapping princesses in Ooo. Fionna knew it was Ice Queen. Finn asked Fionna "who is Ice Queen". Cake responded saying the Ice Queen was like the Ice King but eviler. Fionna told Finn and Jake that they should go to the Ice Kingdom to check it out. Finn agrees with her then changes into his yellow sweater and so does Fionna. Fionna thinks that they need faster transportation to the Ice Kingdom and Finn agrees but wonders how they will accomplish this. Jake brings up finding Lady Rainicorn to take them there. Finn thinks it's a great idea and they all go to Lady's house where they find her with Lord Monochromicorn. Jake tries to talk to Lady about taking them to the Ice Kingdom but is jealous of Lord Monochromicorn being with Lady Rainicorn. Then Fionna tells Lord Monochromicorn that maybe he and Lady Rainicorn can both take them there since they're friends. Lord Monochromicorn agrees and charms Lady Rainicorn a little then Cake and Jake get even more jealous. So, Lady Rainicorn and Lord Monochromicorn take all of them to the Ice Kingdom and leave once they drop them off. Then Finn, Jake, Fionna and Cake sneak into the Ice Kingdom looking for Ice King and Ice Queen but Ice King and Ice Queen find them. Ice King shows off Ice Queen to all of them and saying she his queen. Ice Queen gets annoyed and says "For the last time I'm not 'your' queen". Finn then realizes that has met Ice Queen before in the crystal dimension and before he met Fionna and Cake. Then Finn then tells a story of when he and Jake met Ice Queen and how he fought her. Then Fionna and Cake hear voices screaming their names. It is apparently Princess Bubblegum and Prince Gumball in an ice cell then they told them to help save them from Ice Queen and Ice King. Then Finn declared that they would save them from those two. Then the scene changes to outside of the Ice Kingdom with Marshal Lee and Marceline talking with each other. Marceline hears Finn's voice from a distance from where she and Marshal Lee are. Marceline decides to go investigate where the noise came from and takes Marshal Lee with her. Marceline finds Finn and talks with him to figure out what's going on. Finn notices another vampire with Marceline and asks who's with her. She then introduced Marshal Lee to Finn and Finn thinks Marshal Lee is Marceline's boyfriend which makes Marceline embarrassed and upset. Marshal Lee talks with Marceline and says "it's cool". Fionna notices Marshal Lee then asks him why he's here and Marshal Lee explains that he came here with Marceline. Telling Fionna that there is another vampire she knows she was his opposite. Fionna meets Marceline then Marceline tells her that Marshal Lee told her that she gets pranked a lot and thinks it's funny. Telling Fionna that, she becomes angry and yells at Marshal Lee for telling Marceline about his embarrassing pranking. Then Finn tells Fionna to wait and says he has an idea. Finn tells them that Marceline should fight with Fionna and Cake and Marshal Lee should fight with himself and Jake. Jake says that he and Finn can rematch the Ice Queen and Cake says her and Fionna can fight Ice King. Ice Queen begins the battle with a zap of her ice powers. Fionna is antsy to fight Ice King who seems to be ignoring her and seems to make her upset with him. Then, Ice King says a sexitst remark about Fionna, Marceline, and Cake being weak. Fionna, even more upset with Ice King, run toward him ready to attack, but Ice King cheats and freezes Fionna's feet. Then Ice King, of course, starts to hit on Fionna. Now, it's up to Cake and Marceline to save Fionna from Ice King. Cake tells Marceline to use her as a weapon in her morning star mode. Marceline grabs Cake by her tail, spins her around, and then punches Ice King right in the kisser! Finn, Jake, and Marshal Lee are impressed by the girls' skills. Cake check on Fionna to see if she's okay and then tells her to break the ice that Ice King froze her feet with. Thinking, Fionna remembered she had her sword with her. She pulls out her sword and threatens to beat up the Ice King with it with Marceline and Cake to back her up. With Ice King defeated, It's Marshal Lee, Finn, and Jake turn to defeat the Ice Queen. Finn and Jake beg Marshal Lee for help on this mission. In return Marshal Lee comes up with a plan to take down Ice Queen for good. Jake stretches into and sling shot to shoot Finn toward Ice Queen so he can kick off her tiara so Marshal Lee can catch it. Even though her tiara is off and powers down she still plans to go after Gumball. Before she leaves with Gumball in her arms, Fionna punches her face with jealousy and rage which cause Gumball to fly in the air. Fionna catches him before he could hit the ground. Ice King is still conscious and tries to go after Bubblegum as well, but Finn comes in and keeps him away from her and she is thankful for him doing that. Then Cake puts on Ice Queen's tiara and sprays the Ice King and Ice Queen with ice from the enjoyment, Fionna pushes off the tiara telling Cake to stop. Ice King tries to hit on Ice Queen again by asking her if she wanted to "make-out", but she quickly refused. Prince Gumball and Princess Bubblegum thank Finn and Fionna for saving them from the Ice King and the Ice Queen, leaving Fionna and Finn in "crush mode". Gumball introduces himself to Finn and flirts with Princess Bubblegum a little bit. Then Marceline and Marshal Lee come in and crash the party with Gumball and Bubblegum. Then they meet another challenge... to get out of the Ice King's tower! Lucky for them, Lady Rainicorn and Lord Monochromicorn came to take them back to the Candy Kingdom. Being back, Princess Bubblegum works more on the vortex machine with Gumball helping her. In the meantime, Finn asks Fionna and Cake about their adventure in getting to their universe. According to Fionna, Gumball made a similar vortex machine, which was built wrong, sending them to Finn and Jake's world and had them run into a monster which is where they met. Unexpectedly, the gang runs into Lumpy Space Princess and Lumpy Space Prince complain about not "being invited to a party". On that note, Princess Bubblegum successfully finished working on the vortex machine and states that they can go home now. Everyone says good bye to their opposites and wishes each other luck for the future. Especially, Finn and Fionna who share a kiss... Ice King points out that he can make Ice Queen happy using Finn and Fionna as an example. Ice Queen becomes upset with him but relieved as Fionna pulled her away from him. Finn and Fionna say their last good byes, after she had left while the portal is closing, Finn hopes Fionna will remember him.
Fionna and Cake Epilogue[]
Fionna and the gang finally make it home safely. Prince Gumball tells Fionna that he's going to take Ice Queen to her Kingdom, then go back to the Candy Kingdom to fix the vortex machine some more and asks Fionna if she wanted to help. Fionna tells Gumball that she would love to help him fix the machine. Gumball is pleased and flies off on Lord Monochromicorn to take Ice Queen home. Cake buts into Fionna's love life and said, joking around, that Fionna seems to a have thing Finn. Fionna says there is nothing romantic between her and Finn, but she still wonders about him staring at a cloud that looks like Finn.
Finn and Jake Epilogue[]
Finn and Jake are at their Tree Fort, while Finn is sad and Jake is trying to cheer him up. Finn tells Jake that it's the first time he's ever met an actual human and accidently tells him that she kissed him. Jake surprised and overjoyed he thinks Fionna can be his girlfriend, but Finn also says that he doesn't feel that way toward Fionna and wishes to see her again. Jake says that he will meet Fionna again and in a matter of time and tries to cheer him up with... videogames!

- There are some of spelling errors in some parts of the comic, also coloring errors.
- In the comic, Cake's eyes are blue (old design) when they should be white.
- In the title card, Marshal Lee's skin is green but in the comic his skin color is the same as Marceline's.
- This comic is 32 pages long including a 2 page epilogue, in all 34 pages.
- In the first 7 pages of the comic the genderswapped characters are in their old designs.
- This comic make references to adventure time episodes such as: "Fionna & Cake" and "Her Parents."
- It also makes a reference to a popular abridged series on youtube called "sailor moon abridged" or SMA.
- In pages 8-24, Fionna is wearing her yellow sweater but on page 26 she is not.
- The timeline of this comic is around season 2, before "The Real You" and "Mortal Recoil".
